I popped into George Street Social recently and was happy to discover that they don’t charge extra for plant-based milks, and make a delicious vegan hot chocolate, so the coffee shop/restaurant/bar is already a great spot to hang out with friends, grabbing a hot drink and maybe playing some board games.
It felt like the ideal date night spot and I’m sure I’ll return again at some point to try out more of what they have to offer.
The Handlebar Cafe and Kitchen have a number of vegan options on their brunch menu, savoury or sweet, to choose from, so we enjoyed a meal on a little table out the front of the cafe in the sun.
