You may be surprised to see me revisiting Byron Burger after my notoriously bad experience there last year. I must admit I was hesitantly curious when I saw that they relaunched a brand new vegan burger and an overhaul of their veggie and vegan options a couple of weeks ago.
This week I had the opportunity to visit Quod on High Street for a meal with colleagues. Quod change their menu seasonally, and due to the dining situation, I called in advance to double check they’d have something vegan on the menu to avoid any awkwardness.
Inside the front entrance is an enticing display of breads, jams and spreads, and sweet and savoury treats, much of which is vegan. You can either grab a muffin and a cuppa to go, or wait to be seated in the restaurant area.
