At the entrance, Farplace had their own stand selling absolutely huge cakes and pastries. I picked up a massive iced pastry straight away because we were there just after the event opened and I could see their stock was already depleting at a decent rate.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the burger was the best part about the meal. It was nice and crispy on the outside but soft in the middle, flavoured with lots of spices including cumin, with chickpeas and kidney beans. Essentially though this was a more polished version of a vegan burger that me and Jamie have made at home quite often.
Happy World Vegan Month fellow vegan foodies! I was happy to celebrate World Vegan Day (November 1st) at the brand new Pho in Westgate with my boyfriend, and a huge celebration it turned out to be because Pho had invited us to try as many vegan dishes as we liked.
