It had been far too long since I’d last visited Happy Friday Kitchen, Oxford’s original vegan restaurant and California-style junk food bar. A few weeks ago, when things were somehow normal, I was very happy to be invited back to try some of their new menu items.
Lula’s Ethiopian and Eritrean Cuisine has been a familiar face at the Gloucester Green market on Wednesdays and Saturdays for a long time, with her vegan options being a firm favourite for a tasty lunch.
I feel sad about posting this review. As it’s only the second vegan restaurant to open in Oxford, I was really excited to visit Delhish Vegan Kitchen and to give my support to a new independent vegan business. Unfortunately, based on our experience when we visited for Valentine’s Day, I don’t feel able to recommend it.
