Those who know me know I love to exercise, and keeping fit is a big part of my life, but one thing I don’t do very much at all is cycling – not even of the spin class variety. In fact, until a couple of weeks ago my bike had been kept in storage for the two years since I got it. So what did I decide to do? Sign up for a cycling retreat five days in advance, obviously.

Pan Pan Oxford opened at the end of May this year on the old site of Pink Giraffe, and offers a variety of dishes inspired by the street food of Southeast Asia. At a first glance their menu seemed pretty vegan friendly, but I messaged them in advance and they provided me with a really helpful list of all the options that are either vegan, or can be adapted if you ask.
As you might have gathered from my Wilderness Festival food round-up, I love street food. I love the passion and care that food truck owners clearly have for their food, and really admire them for cooking up what are often beautiful dishes with lots of different elements, in the tiniest of kitchens under pressured circumstances.
