Wetherspoons were surprisingly one of the earlier adopters among chains to offer reasonable vegan options (or at least, reasonable comparable to everything else they serve). In fact, I’m surprised it’s taken me this long to get round to posting about their menu!
I popped into George Street Social recently and was happy to discover that they don’t charge extra for plant-based milks, and make a delicious vegan hot chocolate, so the coffee shop/restaurant/bar is already a great spot to hang out with friends, grabbing a hot drink and maybe playing some board games.
It felt like the ideal date night spot and I’m sure I’ll return again at some point to try out more of what they have to offer.
