Hello, thanks for visiting my blog 🙂
I’m Heather, a 28-year-old vegan foodie living in Oxford. Having spent a lot of time trawling the internet trying to find recommendations for decent vegan-friendly places to eat in our beautiful city, I came to the realisation that this information can be actually quite difficult to find. Cue the best excuse to try out lots of delicious food…
I have a long list of food establishments in Oxford in my head that serve vegan food. In the hope that I can make your lives easier and this blog can become your go-to guide to vegan food in Oxford, and purely for research reasons of course (nothing to do with the fact that I need a way to justify going out for food multiple times a week), I’m planning to visit and review every restaurant, and let you know whether it’s worth a visit! Feel free to bookmark this post because each time I write a review, I’ll come back here and update the list with the link below.

Thank you, and hopefully that’s a good sign! Maybe you should find an excuse to go out for a nice breakfast 😛 (though who needs an excuse really…)!

I’ve just had a quick read, so many places I didn’t even know existed! I’m in Bicester so they are all within easy reach. Thank you Heather x

You’re welcome, I’m happy to spread the word about businesses supporting veganism! If you have any Bicester recommendations please do let me know, I am keen to do the odd post outside of the city 😊 x

Heather. Really helpful thanks. I’m vegan by choice and gluten free for medical reasons, a difficult combination to eat out. For example I can’t have porridge as most oats are contaminated with wheat and cafes don’t stock gluten free oats. Would it be possible to add a comment or two about gluten free availability in your future reviews.
Thanks

Glad you’ve found the blog helpful! I’m not too clued up on gluten free stuff so I’m not sure I’d be particularly qualified to comment on that in my reviews but if I notice anything particular on menu then I will usually include that! 😊

Hi Heather the list is really good however you are missing off turtle bay, they have a wide range of vegan and vegetarian foods, more than a lot of places i have been to. I think it would fit nicely on your list .

Hi Anthony, thanks for visiting my blog! I agree, Turtle Bay is one I have been to in the past but I haven’t yet got round to reviewing – I know their fairly recent new veggie/vegan menu has lots of options so I hope to try it out soon 😊
