I discovered Taberu has a large separate vegan menu, with gluten free also well catered for, and had to restrain myself from ordering every single item on the menu.
It had been far too long since I’d last visited Happy Friday Kitchen, Oxford’s original vegan restaurant and California-style junk food bar. A few weeks ago, when things were somehow normal, I was very happy to be invited back to try some of their new menu items.
Our waitress was helpful in advising which choices were vegan, and in the end (thanks to her patience as it took us ages to decide) we went for a few mezze to share as starters, and a main each.
