As it’s Veganuary, I wanted to share some of my vegan tips beyond going out to eat at restaurants. January can be a tough month after the expense of Christmas, and indulging less in meals out can be one of the easy ways to save the pennies. Here are my top vegan cookbooks that I come back to time and time again for inspiration – quick mid-week meals, showstoppers, snacks and beyond.
To the majority of non-vegans, it is easy to get confused between vegan, and ‘plant-based’. While even just cutting out animal products from your diet does have an impact of the suffering of animals and damage to the environment, many people may not realise that the exploitation carries through into so many other aspects of our modern lives, and you’re missing the point of veganism if you’re still actively participating in that.
Happy new year all! In the spirit of Veganuary, I thought I would start the year off with something a bit different from my usual posts. In the hopes of helping anyone who is new to veganism, interested in cooking more plant-based foods, or just plain curious about what on earth we eat, I thought I’d share a series of tips on issues around vegan living.
