I feel sad about posting this review. As it’s only the second vegan restaurant to open in Oxford, I was really excited to visit Delhish Vegan Kitchen and to give my support to a new independent vegan business. Unfortunately, based on our experience when we visited for Valentine’s Day, I don’t feel able to recommend it.
We arrived around 1pm, by which time the vegan apricot filled croissants had long since sold out (good excuse to go again soon). It’s a small cafe, but the chilled cabinet had a good selection of vegan sandwiches available, and there was hot food on offer too.
Followers of my Instagram will know that I’m a big fan of The Coconut Tree, on St Clement’s Street. In fact, whenever new followers send me a message asking for recommendations of where to eat, I will always tell them that the Sri Lankan bar/restaurant is my number one place to get good vegan food in Oxford.
